Movement Magic Dance - The Body Language Workshop

Movement and music has always had a deeply personal connection to the human psyche. To dance and to move in synchronicity to music is our body's way of communicating to itself; a way to find flow and connection to the grand logos and rhythm. Come discover your own personal body language in this unique and intimate dance class. This workshop will take place in my personal studio that I have fondly dubbed the "Alchemical Body Lab" <3

Movement Magic Dance Class is a dance class that is a fusion of styles from jazz to heels to musical theatre to hip hop to shuffle and everything in between. The philiosophy is that dance is an embodiment of the music, and together an alchemy is created when human beings move together in sync with each other.

This is a judgement free zone and a place for you to push past self limiting beliefs of what your body can do. 

Optional magical sacrament will be provided prior to class to enhance the experience.

Programme of events:

3pm - Arrival; welcoming circle and introductions

3:33pm - Warm Up

3: 50pm - Discussion and workshop on freestyling

4:00pm - Dance SOUL Circle 

4:15 - Break for water and body check in

4:20 - Choreography to the musical story of the moment *song to be release a day before the workshop*

5pm -  Stretch and closing circle

What to bring with you:

- Water to stay hydrated

- Wear clothing that is comfy and you can move and sweat in

- Socks (you can wear indoor shoes as well)

- A fun and willing attitude to learn and move your body!
